Kingdoms & Companies

Found a Kingdom or Company, claim zoned territory, set up custom permission groups, and unlock territory upgrades.

What they are

Kingdoms and Companies let you team up with friends to build towns, shopping districts, public farms, and trade networks.

A Kingdom (/kingdom or /k) is built for towns, citizen housing plots, farms, and community builds. A Company (/company or /co) is built for shops, trade, and bulk supply orders.

Belong to both at once

You never have to choose between living in a town with friends and running your own business. Every player can belong to one Kingdom and one primary Company at the same time.

If you want help from a friend who already runs a different Company, you can add them as an external Contractor with /co contractor add <player>. Contractors stay in their own Company while getting permission to restock your shops or help out in your territory.

Companies can claim their own land in the wilderness with /co claim or rent commercial plots right inside a Kingdom's town center.

Starting and expanding

Creating a Kingdom or Company uses your personal balance. Once created, you deposit money into your organization's Treasury (/k deposit <amount>) to pay for chunk claims and upgrades.

Feature Company (/co) Kingdom (/k)
Founding cost $100,000 $250,000
Starting chunk limit 16 chunks 36 chunks
Starting member limit 10 members 20 citizens
Residential living plots Unlocked via upgrade ($500,000) Included from the start
Commercial company plots Included from the start Unlocked via upgrade ($400,000)

Claiming territory

Stand in an unclaimed chunk and run /k claim or /co claim. While personal /cclaim chunks cost $1,000 for solo bases, organization chunks scale as your territory grows.

Total claimed chunks Cost per chunk
Chunks 1 to 25 $5,000
Chunks 26 to 64 $10,000
Chunks 65 to 120 $20,000
Chunks 121 and up $35,000

Expansion tiers

Open /k upgrades (or /co upgrades) to raise your maximum chunk and member limits using Treasury funds.

Upgrade tier Cost Bonus capacity
Tier 2 Expansion $250,000 +32 chunks and +10 members
Tier 3 Expansion $750,000 +64 chunks and +20 members
Tier 4 Expansion $2,000,000 +128 chunks and +40 members

Territory zones and the Zone Radar

Every claimed chunk has a zone type that controls what players can do in that area.

Run /k zones (or /co zones) to open the 5x5 Territory & Zone Radar centered on where you are standing. Left-click any of your claimed chunks on the map to cycle its zone type, or click the Eye of Ender button to turn on colored particle borders around nearby chunks.

Zone type Border color How it works
Standard Gold or Aqua Normal town or company land controlled by your group permissions.
Farm Green Lets players harvest full-grown crops, berries, cocoa, nether wart, and Apricorns. Anything harvested replants itself automatically, and immature crops or farmland cannot be broken or trampled.
Market Yellow Allows placing Chest and Barrel Market Stalls and lets visitors browse and buy.
Pasture Pink Breeding area that pairs with the Breeder's Sanctuary upgrade to warm Cobblemon eggs 15% faster.
Gym Red Arena chunk for the Sponsored Gym upgrade where visitors can run /gymchallenge once a day.
Plot Purple Assigned automatically when you create a Portable Plot for someone to rent.

Groups and permissions

You can manage who has access to different parts of your Kingdom or Company through /k groups and /k members.

Default groups

Every Kingdom and Company starts with five default groups ordered by rank weight from 0 to 100.

Group Default rank weight Role in the organization
Leader 100 The founder with full access to every setting and permission.
Officer 75 Trusted co-leaders who can invite players, claim land, set zones, and manage lower groups.
Member 30 The default group when someone accepts an invite. Can build in standard land, use chests, and harvest farms.
Contractor 15 External helpers who can open doors, harvest farms, and restock company market stalls.
Visitor 0 Any non-member walking through your land. By default, visitors can shop at stalls, harvest mature farm crops, and rent open plots.

Custom groups and the permission menu

Leaders (and any group given permission to manage groups) can create custom ranks such as Builders, Farmers, Guards, or Merchants.

/k group create builder 50 Royal Builder
/k group set <player> builder

Inside /k groups, click any group to open its permission menu. Permissions are organized into five tabs covering Territory, Zones, Commerce, Real Estate, and Governance. Click any permission icon in the chest menu to turn it on or off for that group.

To keep your hierarchy safe when you give Officers permission to manage ranks, players can only edit permissions, change rank weights, or kick members of groups that have a lower rank weight than their own. They can also only grant permissions that their own group already has.

Locking high-security chunks

If you have a vault room or private warehouse chunk that normal Members should not be able to open, right-click that chunk inside /k zones (or stand in it and run /k chunk minweight 75). Anyone whose group weight is below that number will not be able to open chests or break blocks in that chunk.

Public Directory and entrance portals

To let players visit your town or shop from Spawn, build an active Book Portal at your entrance, stand near it, and run /k setportal (or /co setportal). Then open /kingdom and set your Public Directory toggle to listed.

Players can right-click the Directory Pedestal at Spawn or run /directory from anywhere to browse public Kingdoms, Companies, open markets, plots for rent, and supply contracts, then teleport right to your entrance portal.
