Cobblemon Breeding

Breed Pokémon in pastures, warm eggs, and hatch with optional shiny boosts.

What it is

Breeding happens through Cobblemon pastures. Compatible Pokémon in the same pasture can produce eggs you carry, warm, and hatch. Everything happens in-game through pastures and items. No commands needed.

The pasture scanner runs every 60 seconds with a 15% chance to produce an egg when compatible parents are present. Up to 5 eggs can queue per pasture.

Step by step

  1. Put two compatible Pokémon in the same pasture (matching egg groups, breedable).
  2. Wait for the pasture scanner. Heart particles mean breeding is active or eggs are waiting.
  3. Right-click the pasture when eggs are queued to receive a proxy egg item.
  4. Keep the egg in your inventory. Warmth ticks up every 30 seconds (about 15 minutes base hatch time).
  5. When warmth hits 100%, use the egg to hatch. You need party or PC space.

Flame Body and Masuda

  • Flame Body or Magma Armor in your party doubles warmth gain.
  • Masuda method gives 6× shiny odds when parents differ appropriately.
  • Shiny Charm on a parent gives 3× shiny odds.
  • Base shiny rate is 1/8096 before modifiers.

Tips

  • The pasture chunk must stay loaded or progress pauses.
  • Eggs are inventory items, not blocks sitting in the pasture.
